An opportunity for everyone
We believe that everyone should help those in their community experiencing homelessness. That’s why we offer volunteer opportunities for everyone from families with kids to sports teams and work friends. If you have a heart for the homeless, we have a place for you.

Why weekly motels?
When they first visit one of our locations, volunteers are surprised by how many people live in the rundown, pay-by-the-week motels we serve. Volunteers remark that they drive past these motels for years paying them no attention. They’re surprised and saddened to learn that many families, of multiple generations, call these dirty motel rooms home. But that’s why we’re here, to bring smiles, hope and encouragement to people who otherwise go un-noticed. The time you spend volunteering with us makes a direct impact on the lives of those going through incredibly difficult circumstances.

What is MotelChurch?
MotelChurch is a nonprofit organization that plants churches in weekly motels where the working poor and transitional homeless live. Volunteers spend their time encouraging those who spend their days struggling to survive. This at-risk population needs hope, they need to know that they matter and that they are loved. We seek to help families and individuals suffering in poverty and share the love of God with them in the process. Our Neighborhood Fairs are a way for us to invest even more in the communities that each church location calls home.
